VPT Group supports clients across mechanical, electrical, drill support, fire and fluid, access equipment and equipment hire.
Our main base is in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, with teams working across the Goldfields, Pilbara, Perth, Wheatbelt and regional and remote Western Australia. VPT EWP Services also has a Brisbane-based team supporting customers across South East Queensland and further into Queensland as required.
VPT Group brings specialist teams together across the group, sharing resources, systems and support while letting each team stay focused on what they do best. This gives our clients access to a broader range of services, with support delivered on site, through our mobile and field service teams, or from our West Kalgoorlie workshop depending on what the job requires.
Our focus is on being reliable, easy to work with and consistent in how we deliver.
VPT started in Kalgoorlie with Te Manu Timu on the tools and one service ute, working directly with clients across the Goldfields.
Te had already spent years working across mining and heavy equipment maintenance, from working on the tools through to workshop and maintenance leadership. He wanted to build something of his own for his family, create opportunities for other people and build a business around the standard of work and relationships that mattered to him.
What began as VPT Mechanical grew through the relationships we built and the work our clients trusted us to take on. As new opportunities came up, we added new services and specialist teams, and over time VPT developed into the group it is today.
A lot has changed since those early days, but VPT is still a hands-on business. Te and the wider leadership team remain closely involved with our teams and the work happening across the group.
Bringing more than 40 years of combined experience, our leadership team has worked across the tools, site and operational roles before moving into leadership.They remain closely involved in the day-to-day business, supporting both clients and site teams across our projects.
