VPT Mechanical provides mechanical maintenance, field service, workshop repairs and site-based support across Western Australia.
Our crews work within client maintenance teams as well as independently, supporting day-to-day maintenance, breakdowns, planned work, shutdowns and longer-term site requirements.
On site, our support can go beyond providing additional trades. VPT works directly with maintenance teams and coordinators, helping manage mechanical and workshop needs as they arise and working alongside client teams, OEMs and other contractors.
We also have the capability to take on supervisory and leadership responsibilities, including S26 Supervisor coverage, maintenance supervision and shutdown planning and leadership.

Equipment We Work On
Our experience covers a broad range of heavy and supporting equipment, including excavators, haul and dump trucks, loaders, dozers, graders, underground mobile equipment, trucks and heavy road transport, auxiliary and support plant, light vehicles and site fleets.
Our teams work across major OEM equipment including Caterpillar, Komatsu, Liebherr, Hitachi, Sandvik, Epiroc, Volvo and others.
Site-Based Workforce & Support
VPT can provide team members for short-term coverage, ongoing rosters, shutdowns, projects and longer-term site requirements. This includes S26 Statutory Supervisors, heavy diesel mechanics, light vehicle mechanics, fixed plant fitters, auto electricians, servicemen, boilermakers, trade assistants, storepersons and warehousing support, planners and other supporting trades. Support can range from an individual trade covering a roster through to a larger VPT crew working as part of the client’s maintenance operation.
